A B O U T

Rickman-Online.net has been quite long in the making and even longer in the should-be making. When I began expanding Greasy Git to include news and images of Alan Rickman, I knew the day would come when I'd need to split the two due to information overload. I knew that day was upon me when I'd found that I had more Alan Rickman-related content on a site that was supposed to be about a character he was playing. And it was thus that Rickman-Online.net was born. Well, conceived. Not born until much later due to my nasty habit of chronic procrastination.

There's not much to know about me; the webmaster, the woman, the...I've run out of w's. I'm currently a student at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA where I'm working towards a BA in History (one more year to go on that). I hope to be a high school history teacher by the end of it. I recently turned 21 years old, so, thankfully, I am now finally fully regarded as an adult in this ever so charming society that will let you vote for your leaders and die for your country at 18, but God help you if you imbibe an alcoholic beverage before 21. And, with ever so much thanks to our illustrious electoral college, you're going to need an alcoholic beverage after you realize you've just thrown your vote away because you live in a red state.

I have a love for all things British and male and older than myself, but when I'm not drooling over men like Mr. Rickman, Jack Davenport or Gabriel Byrne, I'm probably listening to music. I'll listen to anything from hardcore to classical, although modern country is absolutely out of the question. If you want to start listening to good music, e-mail me and I'll give you a list a mile long of bands that everyone could like, but shouldn't because then they wouldn't be underground anymore and thus would lose their appeal.
